Contemporary Works

This morning my friend from Canada and I went to the National Gallery and visited their contemporary art section. It was so cool! All of the big wigs: Phillip Guston, Picasso, Matisse, Mondrian, Giacometti, Duchamp, Rachel Whiteread, Goldsworthy, Richard Serra, Pollock....cool right?

  1. I love Mark Rothko! There's a small, modern chapel in Houston--the Rothko Chapel--Woody and I used to love to go there and just sit.

    Your visit sounds awesome!

  2. Love the Bronze People! They look huge! Glad you are having fun.

  3. Some mornings I wake up and I feel like a bronze stretched-out Giacometti person, and I know it is not going to be a good day. Character forming, perhaps, but not at all fun...
